Displaying Wine With A Hanging Wine Rack

For wine enthusiasts, part of the fun of enjoying wine is displaying the bottles. Visit the home of any wine connoisseur and you?ll likely find a variety of wine bottles showcased in some way or another. One such popular way to display different wines is with the use of a hanging wine rack.

A hanging wine rack, while being utilitarian in its uses, frequently boasts the added benefit of being visually appealing. Those with an eye for decorating will find a hanging wine rack to be both a useful piece and a lovely home accessory.

The popularity of the hanging wine rack stems largely from its universal appeal; it is made from a variety of materials ? everything from wood to wrought iron. While some will have space only for wine bottles, others offer you the option of also hanging your stemware alongside your wine. Clearly, the hanging wine rack also offers consumers a great space advantage as it stays well out of the way and allows you to create a lovely and functional display without taking over the room. For those who live in smaller spaces, this can be enormously appealing. Further, the installation of a hanging wine rack can be achieved quickly and easily with simple directions and a couple of common household tools.

Finding a hanging wine rack that appeals to you can be as simple as an online search. There are a great many websites that offer household accessories of this nature at a very affordable price. If shipping prices are of concern to you, then you can just as easily check out a couple of local retail stores. Depending on your needs, you will more than likely find the perfect hanging wine rack right down the street and at a price that will be well worth the functionality and visual appeal of this piece.

No matter which hanging wine rack you choose, you will surely enjoy many compliments to come as friends and visitors admire your creativity and style.

Christmas and Wines

Thu, 20 Dec 2007 04:02:39 PST
Something about the mini bar from a disposal in Dusit Hotel prompted me to write something about wines. My sister-in-law works in a hotel and is an expert on food and beverages, she knows the ingredients of most prepared foods, she knows a lot of cheese names and especially wines. As for me I am confined to the red and white wines, and the "black fly in your chardonnay" song of Alanis Morrissette that is all I know. During Christmas and New Year or any celebration, you can always find win

Sherried Mushrooms

This is an appetizer that my dad makes from time to time, which is one of my favorite things to eat, hands down. The better the mushrooms and sherry that you use, the better the result will be. I've done this with crimini mushrooms before, and that was fine, but this is the perfect dish to try new shrooms: chantrelle, shiitake, oyster, porcini, chinese black, lion's mane, hedgehog, yellowfoot -- try them all. The only one I wouldn't recommend is enoki, as they are a little too fragile. about t

Serving Port wine: The best Port wine for your decanter this holiday season In his December 12th edition of the '30 Second Wine Advisor,' Robin Garr reports on the result of his Port wine experiment in 'KEEPING PORT - PUSHING THE LIMITS.' Sherry and Cheese

I have an event coming up for which my client requested a station made up of a variety of non-wine pairings. So, I’m designing a new station called “Out of the Vineyard.” I’m really excited about it, because I’ve been dying to include a pairing of sake and cheese in one of our events…sake being one of my current “hobbies.” We’ll also go with one beer-and-cheese pairing, but I needed a third. I’d long been planning to design a tasting for ourselves of sherries and cheese, so I figured that the

Bruno Giacosa Barolo Falletto D.O.C.G.

"The fabulous 1998 Barolo Falletto del Serralunga reveals intensity and volume. A dark plum color is accompanied by a classic Nebbiolo perfume of rose water, melted tar, truffles, and cherry jam. As the wine sits in the glass, aromas of spice box and cigar smoke also emerge. Full-bodied, dense, and powerfully tannic, yet extremely harmonious, it will be at its finest between 2008-2030."
